Terrazzo is a flooring material made by embedding marble chips, glass, quartz, or granite fragments in a cement or resin base, then grinding and polishing the surface to a smooth, reflective finish. The result is a completely unique floor — no two terrazzo installations ever look the same.
It's one of the world's oldest flooring systems, and it's lasted this long because it works. Terrazzo floors in Uganda's schools, hospitals, and government buildings have been in service for 40, 50, even 60 years.
If you want a floor that will still look good when your grandchildren inherit the building, terrazzo is your answer.

Straight answers to the questions we get asked most often about this.
Terrazzo in Uganda ranges from UGX 100,000–200,000 per m² depending on aggregate materials and installation method.
Cementitious terrazzo typically takes 2–3 weeks (including cure times). Resin-based terrazzo is often done in 5–7 days for most residential projects.
Terrazzo is the ideal floor for schools and hospitals in Uganda. Hygienic, extremely durable under heavy daily use, easy to clean, and virtually zero maintenance. Many institutions have had their terrazzo floors since the 1960s.
Yes. Dull, scratched, or cracked terrazzo can usually be restored by grinding, re-polishing, and resealing — far cheaper than full replacement.
Cementitious terrazzo uses Portland cement. Resin terrazzo uses epoxy or polyacrylate — thinner, lighter, faster to install, and more crack-resistant. We install both types.
